Processed category of personal data and legal bases
We process the following of your personal data for the fulfillment of contracts concluded with you or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, as well as for information and marketing purposes, which are carried out at your request (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) if you provide us with this data or pursuant to a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • Company register number and UID number

  • Contract data (e.g. subject matter of the contract, deadlines)
  • Other personal data necessary, in individual cases, for the fulfillment of the contract

    Content of comments etc. (if comments and similar texts are posted on social media)
Usage data
Personal data is only collected if it is necessary for the performance and processing of our services or if you have provided it to us voluntarily. Personal data is also processed as part of our social media presence and our blog. Depending on the mandate, sensitive data such as health data or data in connection with criminal proceedings may also be included in the processing.

We would also like to inform you that in the course of our work as legal representatives, we regularly obtain factual and case-related information about you from third parties.
Data processing purposes
Your personal data mentioned under point 1 “Processed category of personal data and legal bases” will be processed for the following purposes:
  • Legal counseling
  • Enforcement of your claims, in particular in civil, administrative, and criminal proceedings
  • Processing inquiries in connection with our activities
  • Provision of contractual and pre-contractual services
  • Organization and implementation of events in connection with our activities
  • Receiving and assessing applications
  • Optimization of our services and marketing
  • Administration and organization of the company
You provide your personal data voluntarily. However, we can only process your requests if you provide the personal data required for the given purpose.
Transmission of personal data
We will transfer your personal data to the following recipients for the purposes stated in point 2 (if you are only connected via social media and there is no other contact, no data will be transferred):
  • The data is processed within the company
  • Tax consultants
  • Our IT service providers
  • Other external service providers
  • Cooperation partners / partner companies
In order to fulfill your order, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties such as opposing parties, substitutes, insurance companies, courts, or authorities. Your data will be forwarded exclusively on the basis of the GDPR, in particular with regards to fulfilling your order.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in Austria. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection, for which we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).
Use of social media plugins
We do not use any social media plugins on our website, in our email signature or otherwise, but only links that have a forwarding function.
Social media and blogs
We are active on social media (currently Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) and operate a blog (using the WordPress.com service) in order to communicate with clients and other social media users and to inform them about us. User data may be processed outside the European Union. Providers from the US that are certified under Privacy Shield have undertaken to comply with the data protection standards of the European Union. We would like to point out that these social media providers generally process user data in order to conduct market research and pursue advertising purposes. In this context, for example, user profiles are created to generate personalized advertisements. This also applies outside the social media platforms in question. Social media providers may store cookies on users’ end devices. For cookies, see below.

The processing of personal data in connection with the use of social media is based on our legitimate interest in effectively providing information to users and communicating with them (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Use of cookies
We do not use cookies ourselves, but the providers of social media (see above) where we have a presence may use cookies. A cookie is a file that can be stored on your device when you visit a website.
